I took a stroll past Julia Child’s “little house in Cambridge” as she often referred to it. Like most houses in the area, it really isn’t so small.
Located just north of Harvard Square at 103 Irving Street, the house is a private residence and it no longer contains Julia’s famous kitchen. When Julia moved out of the home, the kitchen was removed and donated to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in DC. That would be worth visiting.
I’m sure I’m not the only person who has stuck my camera through the tall picket fence to get a photo of this tree-lined walkway leading up to the house.
